Recruit Profile
A coachable, multi sport athlete who gives 100% all the time. A team player who plays with both power and finesse, determined to excel in all positions on the field.
I started playing field hockey at the age of 5. I have been playing with Delaware Sharks since the age of 10, and have attended many competitive tournaments with the club. These tournaments include the u12 NITs, NITs u14, NITs u16, Shooting Star Jamboree 2020, Disney Showcase 2019, Shooting Star Thanksgiving 2020, Festival Showcase 2021, and National Field Hockey Festival. Our team placed first in the Pocahontas bracket at the 2019 Disney Showcase. My u14 team placed first in the B pool at Shooting Star Thanksgiving 2020 as I lead the team in scoring, while being a selected captain by my teammates. I pride myself on making an effort to make sure everyone on our team is communicating and keeping a positive mindset at all times, which helps to keep team morale up. At Newark Charter, my high school, I was a floater between the JV and Varsity teams my 8th grade year, and started Varsity my freshman and sophomore years. I am most comfortable with my 3D skills as well as my powerful sweep, drive, and chip. I also was on the JV and Varsity teams my 8th grade season of HS lacrosse before our season was cut short by COVID-19, and started a portion of games my freshman year. I carry a 4.1 gpa, and take honors English and Chemistry as well as an AP History course. I also participate in clubs such as Future Medical Professionals, Patriot Athletic Leadership, and Marine Science. I also recently took the classes to become a registered referee in 2020 and it has helped me to gain a better understanding of the game, and help to benefit the growing field hockey community. I hope to continue to play at the collegiate level of field hockey after high school.
